The Bishop's Committee for Christian Home and Family invites everyone to an inspirational Day of Reflection. The Bishop's Committee will host the day on Thursday, May 11, at St. Philip the Apostle Parish, 950 Losson Road in Cheektowaga, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Msgr. Fred Voorhes will deliver a morning address on "Family Values, Past and Present," offering wisdom and practical help to guide us as we walk the journey of life as families supporting one another.
Following the morning presentation, Msgr. Voorhes will be the celebrant and homilist at the Eucharistic liturgy in the church. Attendees planning to be present at this gathering need to bring a brown bag lunch. Coffee, tea and desserts will be provided. A good will offering is requested to support the Bishop's Committee for Christian Home and Family Ministry. There is no fee.
Charitable donations will be gladly accepted in the form of baby needs (diapers, any size and quantity, pull-ups, baby wipes, baby bottles or clothes, etc.) to benefit the St. Gianna Molla Pregnancy Outreach Center, Diocese of Buffalo. Donations are greatly appreciated, but never required.
