Buffalo Bishop Richard J. Malone and the Office of Pro-Life Activities invite all to participate in prayer for a culture of life at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, at the Rosary Novena for Life Mass at St. Rose of Lima Parish, 500 Parker Ave., Buffalo. All priests and deacons are invited to concelebrate and vest for Mass.
After Mass, there will be a silent, prayerful procession and march for marriage to and from a local abortion clinic. Closing prayers will take place outside St. Rose of Lima following the return from the clinic.
The Diocese of Buffalo will join dioceses across the country on Saturday in supporting the third annual March for Marriage. Bishop Malone, chairman of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life & Youth, and Bishop Salvatore J. Cordileone, archbishop of San Francisco and chairman of the Subcommittee for the Promotion and Defense of Marriage, asked bishops and dioceses throughout the United States to join them in this endeavor.
