BBQ Chicken Dinner and Theme Baskets. St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Lackawanna, invites you to our annual Chicken BBQ Dinner and Theme Basket/Tray raffle. It will be held on Sunday, June 7 and will be served at the Lake Erie Italian Club, 3200 South Park Avenue, Lackawanna beginning at 12pm until sold out. Dinner is grilled by BW's BBQ and includes ? chicken, potato salad, cole slaw, roll and butter, dessert, and drink. Chicken fingers and fries are available for children. Chicken dinner - $10; chicken fingers and fries - $6.

Magnificat, A Ministry to Catholic Women, presents a morning of prayer, testimony, and praise! Join Magnificat-Buffalo on Saturday, June 13 at Holiday Inn-Amherst, 1181 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Amherst. Meet two local women whose hearts are filled with love and zeal, which comes straight from the Holy Spirit. Aubrey Bailey and Allie Herian will speak about falling in love with Jesus and His Church and how they evangelize in the workplace and in school. Good News Gets Around.... On the weekend of June 13-14, parishes throughout the Diocese of Buffalo will hold the annual collection for the Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC). Half of all funds collected stay right here in the Buffalo diocese. The other half funds national grants. Donations from Catholic parishioners, like you, make the work of the CCC possible. Daily TV Mass. Do you know someone who misses going to Daily Mass because of an illness or injury? The Diocese of Buffalo provides a Mass from the Our Lady Chapel at St. Joseph Cathedral Monday-Friday. The Mass airs on Time Warner cable Ch. 20 at 12:05pm (city) and at 12:05pm and 6pm (suburbs).

Marriage Moment. "This I command you: love one another." (John 15:17) Love is such a squishy emotion. During good times it comes easily. When do you find it hard to love your beloved? Talk it through. Love anyway.

Parenting Perspective. "Come to Christ, a living stone, rejected by human beings but chosen and precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 2:4) Sometimes one of our children may feel rejected or left out. Perhaps they are socially awkward, visually unattractive, or handicapped in some way. Share a time you felt rejected with your child.
