St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Athol Springs will host a first class relic of St. Maximilian Kolbe on Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22.

The relic will be on display at 8 a.m. Mass Saturday and continue throughout the weekend until the 6 p.m. Mass on Sunday. Those attending Mass will receive a special prayer card with a third class relic of St. Maximilian. There will also be medals and holy cards available.

St. Maximilian Kolbe was a Conventual Franciscan Friar who was martyred during World War II.
