In the Gospel of Matthew 19:14, we read the following: "Jesus said, 'Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'"

Father Paul D. Seil, host of "Our Daily Bread," will speak this month about the importance of youth and young adults in today's Church. Joining him in the kitchen is Kathy Goller, director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Buffalo.

Watch the full episode below:

"Youth and young adults are such a vitally important part of our Church," Goller told Father Seil. "They have amazing gifts to share, and there are so many ways to reach out to them. It's an exciting mission field for the Church's ministry."

To learn more about this ministry, tune in to "Our Daily Bread," Saturday, July 9, at 5:30 a.m. and noon on WKBW-TV Ch. 7. As Father Seil and Goller talk about ministry, they prepare a few delicious dishes. On the menu: roasted chicken legs and thighs, antipasto appetizer squares and non-traditional pizzas. Be sure to check the website at www.odbtv.org for the day's recipes.
