The Holy Cross Parish Council is pleased to announce its first Holy Cross 5K Mass Run and one-mile walk on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 7:45 a.m.

Race day registration will begin at 6:15 a.m. Great food and prizes will be offered after the race.

The Holy Cross community hopes that the race will be unique with an early morning start, and an open invitation for all participants to join the 10 a.m. Mass after the race.  Holy Cross Parish has welcomed the faithful to its beautiful and historic church on the lower West Side for over 100 years.

The church has been an anchor for a community that has witnessed dramatic change over the past 100 years, with Holy Cross always providing stability and a foundation. The parish community represents many people and many cultures.

The race will help continue that commitment and ministry to the neighborhood and to the Diocese of Buffalo for many years to come.
