On Wednesday evening, August 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the dining hall at Christ the King Seminary, Father Peter Drilling and Lutheran Pastors Tim Madsen and Daniel Hoffman will discuss and share about the 500th Commemoration of the Reformation and the ongoing Lutheran-Roman Catholic cooperative efforts. 

The evening together will focus on the major changes taking place between Lutherans and Roman Catholics.   As the result of 50 years of formal dialogue, in culmination of major new statements made by national and international bodies we now find ourselves in new territory.  What does it mean for us to express our unity in ministry and mission?  What will happen when long standing barriers fall, and new alliances are formed?  How can this new unity become a witness to the world proclaiming the power of the Gospel to effect reconciliation after five centuries of division?

Please join us for this ecumenical discussion as we share our common Christian faith, and stay for evening prayer at 9 if you can!
