On December 20, 2018, the independent Diocesan Review Board met and carefully considered the report of Investigator Scott F. Riordan who was asked to investigate an allegation of clerical sexual abuse of a minor against Father Ronald P. Sajdak of the Diocese of Buffalo.

As a result of this report and the recommendation of the independent Diocesan Review Board, Bishop Richard J. Malone has made the following determination:

Based on the information presented at this time, an allegation of clerical sexual abuse of a minor against Father Ronald P. Sajdak has not been substantiated, and Father Ronald P. Sajdak has been returned to active ministry as pastor of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, Harris Hill.
