Nativity of Our Lord students pray the rosary

The students at Nativity of Our Lord School in Orchard Park had a very busy week. Each class prepared part of a traditional Thanksgiving Feast to honor the faculty and staff of Nativity School and Parish. They made everything from scratch including bread, butter, pies, applesauce, potatoes, jell-o and all the fixings of a Thanksgiving dinner. The students and parents were excited to show their heartfelt thanks to all who do so much for the children. ORCHARD PARK — The students at Nativity of Our Lord School had a very busy in November. On Nov. 5, students gathered to pray for our nation. They said a rosary, dedicating each decade to a different government office.
 
They prayed specifically for the office of the president, Supreme Court, Congress, local government and police/fire departments. Every soul in every state was prayed for individually within the decades prayed. After the rosary was prayed, the students continued their prayers outside with a large red, white and blue fully bio degradable tie to tie helium rosary, in the interest of protecting our environment. They launched the balloon rosary with great excitement and for all to see.
 
Later in the month, each class prepared part of a traditional Thanksgiving Feast to honor the faculty and staff of Nativity School and Parish.
