Education Tax Credits - We Need Your Help! Bishop Richard Malone was joined this past week in Buffalo by Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Governor Andrew Cuomo to call upon New York State lawmakers to enact the Education Tax Credit (ETC) before they adjourn in mid-June. This measure will not only provide much needed tuition relief for families who choose a Catholic school for their children, it will increase support to our public schools as well. This is the year to make it happen and we need your help. Please go to http://www.nyscatholic.org and click on "Hot Issues: Action Alert" to urge lawmakers to vote in favor of the ETC. Thank You!

Marriage Moment. "They worshiped, but they doubted." (Mt. 28:17) No matter how much spouses love one another, there are bound to be times that we doubt. We are human and crave reassurance that we are loved. Offer that reassurance today.
Parenting Perspective. Don't think that you have to rush in with a solution to every problem your child has. Sometimes all that a child needs is your listening presence to figure out his or her own solution.

USCCB-Word of Life: "The fundamental human right, the presupposition of every other right, is the right to life itself. This is true of life from the moment of conception until its natural end. Abortion, consequently, cannot be a human right - it is the very opposite. It is 'a deep wound in society.'" - Pope Benedict XVI, September 7, 2007.
