Catholic Women of Buffalo is proud to present the second annual Women's Conference, Saturday, March 18 at Cardinal O'Hara High School in Tonawanda, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Carrying the theme of "Joyful.Patient.Faithful.," the conference will include guest speakers Matt Leonard, Rachel Balducci and Brooke Taylor. Buffalo's own Mary Alice Demler will emcee this event. Leonard is the executive director of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and host of the iTunes Podcast "The Art of Catholic." Balducci, author of "How Do You Tuck in a Superhero," co-hosts "The Gist" on Catholic TV. Taylor co-hosted the "Family Friendly Morning Show" in Cleveland and is founder of the "Mom Squad," a ministry of women from all walks of life, blogging, hosting retreats and workshops aimed at building a sisterhood of believers for Christ.
The day will start off with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, celebrated by Bishop Richard J. Malone. Confession and adoration will be available throughout the day. Over 500 women were in attendance last year. This is an event you don't want to miss.
Tickets are just $35 and include a continental breakfast and Panera lunch.
