Having recently celebrated the victory of Christ over sin and death on Easter Sunday, the Msgr. Theodore W. Kraus died on Monday, April 13, 2015. Ordained a Priest of the Diocese of Buffalo and having faithfully served here for many years, he moved to California for health reasons several years ago and was incardinated in the Diocese of Oakland.

At the close of Appeal Week 2015, Catholic Charities announced March 31, that 78.4 percent of their goal has been met. Donations will be accepted until the close of the fiscal year June 30. This year's goal is $10.9 million.

Yet we have no alternative but to turn to them again and implore them to please pass this legislation once and for all before the close of the legislative session.
